tax advisor I can call

Postby Back Sida » Wed Nov 29, 2023 7:16 am

Hello,
I'm new to this forum (found it with google).
I was wondering if you could give me some recommendations of a tax advisor or lawyer (for international and German tax) that I could call to answer me a few specific questions as it is long and difficult to explain in writing.
Thank you and regards,

You can probably find dual qualified experts at many of the accountancy firms below the Big 4 - such as BDO, Mazars, Blick Rothenberg

Be warned, while you can explain your problem over the phone, none of the them are likely to give you off the cuff advice in the same way. There are regulatory requirements to follow including them confirming your identity (just as opening a bank account) and a formal engagement: all this admin means they are unlikely to just give you 30 mins of advice for a few hundred quid. If the value doesn't justify their fees you might need to just google uk german tax advisers.

You do need to be more specific about what you are looking for as there will often be different expertise for corporate, property and personal tax issues. Similarly, if it's a few million, you can and should justify a more sophisticated adviser than if it is £10k.
