anyone know of a quick method of grossing up a net pay?
i.e. i have a netpay figure and my yax code, need to work out the gross value that produced that netpay. My tax advisor from the IR once rang someone in his office and had this done, I'm loathed to check with him unless i have to in case i get into trouble (again!)

Most payroll software will do this for you.

If you state the net figure, your tax code and pay period (monthly or weekly) I will provide the answer (although this depends on you receiving fairly equal amounts of pay throughout the year if you are close to the 40% rate band).

If you require any further assistance please do not hesitate to contact us, and we will be happy to act on your behalf.
