I have a number of UK clients that I intend to support via the internet from abroad.

What are the tax implications ( if any ) of this.

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

You will need to establish what is your trading entity (sole-trader, partnership, company etc.).

Next you will need to establish where that entity is resident (this relies on a number of factors dependent on the nature of the entity and its circumstances).

Once residence is established (which could be in one or more than one jurisdictions), you will need to establish whether in which jurisdictions your profits are taxable. (This may depend on residence or the source of income).

Finally, if two or more jurisdictions are involved, you need to review the double tax treaty, if there is one.

You will also need to consider whether you need to register for VAT in one or more EU countries if you are making a chargeable supply of goods and services.

You will appreciate from this answer that your circumstances are not clear cut, and you should take both UK and local professional advice.

If you require any further assistance please do not hesitate to contact us, and we will be happy to act on your behalf.

Thanks again.
