Hi can anyone help I worked in Norway last year, but only for about 5 months should I have to pay full tax, as I beleive there are different rules for this amount of time.Any advice would be welcome,Thanks

The double tax treaty between the UK and Norway follows the model OECD treaty. In respect of employment income this would mean that income earned by a UK resident from an employment in Norway would be taxable in Norway unless the period of residence in Norway was less than 6 months.

This would suggest from the info you present that the income is only taxable in the UK. This would apply to social security contributions too. Let me know if you need further help. Kind regards,
