Good morning
i took a redundantcy package in April of 5k and started temp work in july earning about £300 a week at normal tax deductions . i am now working permanently (started october) at double that wage , but i am still getting taxed like i have worked all year - what about the £833.33 i can ean a month which is tax free from april ,may , june? shouldnt i be able to earn £2499 tax free at some point which is the accumalation?

Was any of your redundantcy package treated as taxable?

Did you give your new employer your P45?
