owe tax to HMRC - moving out of UK

Postby ua87 » Sun Jan 18, 2015 10:37 pm

Hi,

I am a non-uk (non-EU) citizen and will move out of UK permanently. Do you need to file a tax return etc when i do so?
I will most likely owe a significant amount of tax as when i filed a tax return for the last year they had changed my tax code and i underpaid tax for multiple periods now.
Whats the advice on this?

Hi ua87,

If HMRC have issued you with a tax return then you must file it.
Kind regards,
