Personal Tax Account-change PAYE tax code for pension etc?

Postby Dave12335 » Mon Nov 04, 2019 8:05 pm

Hi tax friends

Is it possible to use the Personal Tax Account to change the estimated in year personal pension relief and gift aid relief in your PAYE code ?

If not, why not ? The alternative of calling hmrc takes ages !

Thanks.

There are options from within your personal tax account to add income sources and update estimate income details.
Login to personal tax accounts and choose your services then pay as you earn.

I think the allowances / reliefs bit is nicely hidden out of view.

Try clicking on "what makes up your tax free allowance" at right hand side near top.
Then on next page near the bottom it has "Add a missing allowance or tax relief" - if it can be done online hopefully that's the place.
