Personal allowance for non resident with only property income

Postby Raygor » Tue Dec 17, 2019 11:32 am

HI

I am non resident in the UK for over 10 years, I own a property that generated taxable income.
I am a director of a UK company but received no remuneration for this role last year. ( I will next year)

My question is do I get to deduct the personal allowance if I had no salary income, only rental, and does this change next year when I receive a small salary?
I will in any event remain non resident.
Thanks in advance

Non-residents are entitled to a PA if they are an EEA national, thus including a British national.

Or under a double tax agreement.
