Accrual accounting basis service date vs invoice date

Postby nordman » Wed Jan 20, 2021 8:57 pm

In an accrual accounting basis, if the service and invoice dates are very different (e.g. +6 months), which one to use?

This is part of a sole trader activity and will have implications regarding remittance basis (either it's considered part of the overseas income or not). So HMRC might challenge it.
