First Year Income Tax

Postby noaharky98 » Sun May 30, 2021 11:02 am

Hi all, I started my first job in October of 2020 straight out of university. From then I have earned £11,600, however, I have paid £925 in tax which is automatically taken out my pay. My question is, as for this tax year I have earned under the personal allowance, will I get the £925 back as a tax rebate?

Yes. A reund if you apply for it or an adjustment to your code number.
With a pinch of salt take what I say, but don't exceed your RDA
