Subscription claim

Postby taxperson » Tue Nov 30, 2021 7:54 pm

I am claiming some of my professional subscriptions as tax relief which I have done previously. In some of the years I am claiming, a relative that I live with has paid one of the subscriptions- however, I paid my relative the cost of the fees back and the subscription is registered in my name although money came from their account. Can I still claim for this even though the money did not come from my account (although I paid my relative back and they have not claimed for it themselves in their tax)?

Thanks
