Hi,
I always work PAYE, not a "limited company"
In Aug 2022, i had a letter from the UK Inland revenue saying i owed them £1112.94. It said i should pay by 31 Jan 2023.
When i checked through my payslips, i realised that one of my previous employers had not payed the tax for some of my wages. So i did owe this money.
However, i have been working since the letter, (on PAYE), and receiving pay.
I guess the inland revenue must have already taken the money from my account...(?)...because when i just went to my Personal Tax Account, it says i owe no tax for 2020-2021 or for 2021-2022.
Neither is there any detail of me owing any money anywhere on my Personal Tax Account.
So do you think its OK not to pay the money?
(They must have taken it out of my pay?)
