Where Taxpayers and Advisers Meet
Old signature on return.
My wife completed her return and signed and dated it in March. However, she omitted to send it at that time and has been working abroad since then. Will HMRC accept the return if I send it now?

Yes. They won't backdate the time of receipt though so penalties will be based on the date of actual receipt.
