Belgium pension plan - reportable??

Postby DavidTreitel » Wed Jul 11, 2018 4:17 pm

Client is UK resident and domiciled. He casually mentions he has a former employer's pension plan in Belgium worth £100,000 (in his 20s he lived and worked in Belgium for a few years). He is now old enough to cash it in; but has not done so.

Is income within the plan reportable to HMRC. Should client make white space note to disclose the plan and that he is not currently reporting income within the plan as taxable before it is distributed?
