Working in Qatar

Postby sam36 » Mon Aug 13, 2018 4:43 pm

If you have taken a 2 yr contract working in Qatar and are still uk resident for the tax year 2017/18 due to ties and time spent in the uk, when completing your tax return due to rental income do you have to declare the salary earned in Qatar when the funds have stayed in Qatar? As you are still uk resident ?
