I am a director of a UK Limited company that is the sole member of a US based LLC and i need to file the tax return for the LLC. The incorporation is in Delaware but the only client is in New York. I have no physical presence in the US whatsoever and use a registered agent for the registered address. I have paid the 300 USD franchise tax.
How do I file my income tax return? Do I file form 8832 to be taxed as a corporation? Or does the UK Limited have to file the tax return as the sole member of the LLC? Do I have to file a federal and state tax return? If yes, do I file in both new york and Delaware? Not sure if relevant, but the company is loss making.
A lot of questions, hahaha. Many thanks in advance of the help
