For the first part of your question, on the basis you are claiming split tax year treatment, that means you must be UK resident for 2020/21 and so the personal allowance claim boxes do not have to be completed (UK residents are entitled to a PA). .

Second part; agree those boxes are probably not applicable for you.

Finally, yes your original domicile is adhesive and difficult to lose and so you are probably correct.
