Can a Pension Fund Hold a Deposit for a Lease

Postby Taxidermist99 » Tue Jan 21, 2020 3:36 pm

Hi,

I am involved with a clients legal team in drafting a lease for a factory at £ 130,000 per annum.

Can the landlord, a registered pension SSAS hold a deposit say £ 75,000 for the term of the lease to offset against damages or unpaid rent should the tenant fail to pay.

regards
