Gift from a Non Domicled relative

Postby kumar9 » Sun May 02, 2021 12:21 pm

If a UK resident recives a gift from a NON DOMICLED, NON RESIDENT relative , does the 7 year gift rule applicable to the donor ?
Is it counted in the Estate of the recipient?
Any other IHT implications ?
Thank you

UK IHT rules don't apply to Non Doms.
Any monies received will be part of recipient's estate, as they're assets he owns.
With a pinch of salt take what I say, but don't exceed your RDA
