What is the ownership start date of shares issued following a rights issue
of qualifying Business Relief/BR Replacement Property?
Will the 2-year BR qualifying clock for the rights issue shares start on the date the original BR was first owned?
Or the date the Replacement Property shares were first owned?
The rights issue meets the requirements for backdating for IHT.
