I am involved with an unincorporated association which principal aim is to lobby MP's, Government to influence policy in our field. We pay fees to members of our committees of £200 per meeting (less any contribution made by employer or orgainisation sending them). It has been suggested that we should be applying NIC (employees and employers) to these payments - should we do so or, if applicable, what additional information do we require to determine whether we should do so?
