Voluntary contributions + transferable contributions

Postby a2020sts » Mon Jul 27, 2020 2:03 pm

Good afternoon to all and congratulation for this forum,
I have 2 questions:
1- I am an Italian citizien and I have been living in UK since 2005. I have been working in Italy and paying national state pension for 12 years. Can I transfer them to my UK state pension? If so how can I do it? If not, is there a way I can get them back?
2- So far I have 9 years of full contributions but 16 years which I didn't contributed enough. I wonder if can top up the missing years?
Thank you and regards,
Andy
