Too much tax

Postby Zelda1889 » Fri Jun 24, 2022 6:51 am

I earn around 16,000. I recently had a small payout from my previous employers (which was taxed) of around 4.5k, my two salaries since have now been taxed at double the amount previously??

Can you give some more specifics?

eg. Small payout for? Was this PAYE income, a tax refund etc?

What tax codes were being used? What are now being used?
