I work abroad in Azerbaijan and have recently moved to Australia. I am employed by a Uk employer and have been advised that after 52 weeks in Azerbaijan, I will no longer have to pay NI contributions. Since I am no longer resident in the UK should I have to wait the 52 weeks?
Many thanks.
