A resident of the Republic of Ireland who has never worked in the UK will shortly be arriving in the UK to sign a contract with a UK employer. Immediately this contract is signed he will be seconded back to the Republic of Ireland to work. Can anyone advise as to the position regarding payment of Social Security on this employment (ie, UK National Insurance or ROI Soc. Sec.)

Thanks in advance
