P45?

Postby Harrodiankid » Thu Oct 26, 2017 1:24 pm

I'm registered with a temping agency but I'm planning to take a perm role at the end of the month.

Do I still need to request a P45 even if I've never undertaken any paid work with them? Am I going to receive a P60 from then in April?

You should never need to request a P45 - it should be provided automatically. It is beneficial for your tax code to ensure that you receive it and pass it on.

You don't receive form P60 in respect of employments that you left during the year.
