IHT form software

Postby AnthonyR » Thu Nov 29, 2018 4:21 pm

We are preparing more and more IHT forms in respect of estates where we have advised in respect of IHT/Wills etc.

The IHT400 and supplemental forms provided by HMRC are a mess of formatting, with missing boxes, calculation boxes that don't follow through, repetitive boxes on different forms (having to type in the deceased's name on 20 forms gets tiring) and various other issues that just take unnecessary time.

We don't prepare a lot of them (probably 15-20 a year), but is there any software that people can recommend that makes the process of completing them simpler? Even if it just calculated summaries or filled in the standard information it would make our life easier.

I use Oyez IHT workflow and it saves you time duplicating entry data
