Remmitance of money to the UK

Postby Yiannis17 » Thu Sep 05, 2019 7:58 am

Morning

I have a European individual who has moved to the UK with his wife who is working here. He moved last September and has yet to find employment here. He wishes to remit funds to the UK from his country every quarter. He has yet to register for a UK tax return. The monies that will be brought over will in most cases be from money already earned and taxed in his home country. I wanted to know the tax implications of this.

Thank you

Assuming the funds he remits have not been mixed with income/gains arising after 6 April 2018 (or possibly September 18) - none.
