Cash ISAs 2024/2025

Postby zaxtab » Tue Jun 25, 2024 4:25 pm

I thought isa rules had changed this tax year whereby one could have more than one cash isa providing they were with different providers and with total not exceeding £20k and in same tax year?
However when I’ve checked with a number of providers and explained that I wanted to open a cash isa with them whilst already having another cash isa elsewhere they have refused to allow an application … they don’t accept if another exists with another provider
Am I wrong in thinking rules have changed?

You can only pay into one cash ISA in each tax year.

With a pinch of salt take what I say, but don't exceed your RDA

Does this not suggest otherwise…although not mandatory!
