Hi.
First of all, I'm writing from Poland, so forgive my mistakes and errors ;)
I worked on CIS Card on 2005 r. Before I left UK I went to IR. I wanted to cancel my CIS card, and update adress (for polish one). I was told, that I don't have to do anything and Tax return forms would be send to my home (in Poland). I waited and waited and didn't receive anything.
2 days ago I got know, that I had to "close"/"cancel" my card, and had to fill forms till 31st January.
Could you tell me what shall I do know? Which forms shall I fill (I have also worked as normal worker (by agency))? Is it possible to cancel penalty?.
HELP ME!!!
Best Regards

PS. I'm working with taxes in Poland. So if anyone would like to know anything about Polish taxes, I'd answer ;)

You should now complete the tax return and file form P85. As you worked on a CIS it is possible that you do not owe any taxes (there MAY even be a refund due but that is far from certain). If you do not owe anything then the penalty is reduced to nil. Hope this helps but you may wish to get someone from the UK to help you. E-mail me if you like.

Could you write your e-mail? I've tried to write to CDavey9501@aol.com, but e-mail was refused.

There appears to be a problem. Perhaps some type of ant-spam on my e-mail is preventing your message coming through?
