On 6 April, LITRG launched a website to support advisers dealing with the “giving” side of HMRC. Your feedback via an online survey could help improve the site in future.

Revenuebenefits.org.uk – background

LITRG created this website with the support of HMRC and in partnership with Rightsnet. They intend to add progressively to its content in the coming months. To help them build on the initial success of the site, they would welcome feedback from users via an online survey.

Taxes are complex, but tax credits can be even more so, particularly for those on low incomes. There is a wide array of advisers who do not deal with HMRC on a daily basis, in which case advising those who are entitled to HMRC-administered benefits is a minefield. Even if you do deal with HMRC on tax matters, dealing with the Department on tax credits is very much a separate issue.

LITRG has therefore brought together on one website most of the information that advisers will need in order to give the best advice possible.

The survey – including a prize draw!

Since launching the site, LITRG has encouraged visitors to give them feedback so that they can ensure that it has the right content and is easy to use. In addition to improving the existing material, they intend to include new features and are really keen to hear advisers’ suggestions.

Please therefore let them know what you think of the site by completing the online survey.

When you have finished the survey, please leave your contact details, and you will be entered into a prize draw for a £50 Amazon gift voucher.
