The capital gains tax annual exemption limit will rise to £9,200 from 6 April 2007.

The Capital Gains Tax (Annual Exempt Amount) Order 2007 (SI 2007/942) raises the annual CGT exemption from £8,800 in 2006/07 to £9,200 in 2007/08.
