Onwards and Upwards with the ICPA!

TaxationWeb is delighted to welcome ICPA members to the UK's largest independent tax website.

TaxationWeb has prided itself over the years on its strong community of taxpayers, tax professionals and others. This community has manifested itself in a thriving Tax Forum, which provides a meeting place for tax issues to be discussed, and hopefully for many tax problems to be solved.

I am therefore delighted to announce that this community has just grown and become considerably stronger, through the introduction of the ICPA to TaxationWeb. You will no doubt have noticed changes to the site, now that the ICPA has a prominent and attractive presence on TaxationWeb.

The ICPA is a growing professional body for accountants in practice. Towards the end of 2012, its membership was nudging towards 750 accountancy practices, with almost 1,000 members overall if counting individuals as well. Independent Certified Practicing Accountant members enjoy a wide range of benefits which will be of interest and value to the thousands of tax practitioners who visit TaxationWeb each week. (For more information, please visit the ICPA website).

Taxationweb has always had a very positive relationship with the ICPA. I am excited that this relationship has now been taken to a much higher level. TaxationWeb visitors and ICPA members stand to benefit greatly from the sharing of information and resources that this new partnership will bring.

I am sure that the ICPA Accountancy and Tax Portal will enhance the profile and reputation of the ICPA through its presence on TaxationWeb. I am also confident that the tax and accountancy services offered by ICPA member firms will be brought to the attention of many thousands of taxpayers who are seeking help in dealing with their tax affairs.

I would like to warmly welcome all ICPA members to TaxationWeb. This association is just one of an impressive range of benefits provided by the ICPA for its members. I sincerely hope that ICPA member firms will find TaxationWeb to be useful, informative and - who knows - perhaps even a source of new clients from the many taxpayers who visit TaxationWeb and use the Tax Forum.

Best wishes,
